About

Eternally New Beauty ー Souetsu Yanagi ー

Since opening in Teramachi-Ebisugawa, Kyoto, in 2007, I have shared antiques and fine art that truly move me.
In 2025, through a meaningful new connection, I relocated the gallery to Oshikoji-Sakaimachi.

The generous forms of Korean craftsmanship, the dignified lines of medieval kiln wares, the expressive spirit of Momoyama-period ceramics born from turbulent times, and the quiet beauty of tea utensils that embody the aesthetics of Chanoyu—the Japanese Way of Tea—all hold deep resonance for me.
Antiques and fine art reveal the character of their lands and the spirit of their eras.
They are both profound and simply beautiful.
I would be delightful if this website serves as a gateway for you to discover such inspiring works.

Sincerely,
